‘The big blue ride out’

…is a free to attend family fun day with a ‘Biker’ theme. The event is limited to the first 100 bikers pre-registering themselves and their family members. The total attendees are limited to 500 with the remainder being invited from the local community.

When and where…

The event is planned for Sunday 21st July beginning at 12.00am and finishing at 5.00pm. All pre-registered bike riders will ‘check in’ at the J&S Accessories Superstore in Northwich from 10.00am. The first 100 riders to check in will be given a goody bag including a breakfast discount voucher. Following breakfast, a group safety briefing will given followed by a staggered ride out from 11.00am, arriving at Northwich Rugby Club at Moss Park by 12.00 noon. On arrival you will then be marshalled to park up in a dedicated fenced compound, then join your families and others at the bike themed family fun day.

The aim of the event…

The main aim of the event is to fundraise for Mid Cheshire Mind. As it is a not-ticketed event, we hope to raise money through a variety of family fundraising activities for both children and adults. The event starts at 12.00noon until 5.00pm. There will be various activities and entertainment as well as biker merchandising etc. There will be plenty of food and drink available, and also various competitions, raffles and lots of opportunity to win fabulous prizes for both young and older, bikers and non bikers. Other major bike charities such as the Blood Bikers, Mental Health Bikers and Doc Bikers will be present and there will be live music throughout the afternoon from the fabulous Erika Ignata and also the exciting Squirrel Kickers!

The ride itself is a modest 16 mile route between the two locations and will provided in a GPX2 file format to loan into your sat nav system. A copy of the proposed route can be viewed by clicking HERE
